Add Wireless Device to Security Control Panel

You should add wireless devices to the panel before you can perform further operations such as arming and disarming. The wireless devices include detectors (or zones), wireless outputs expanders, sirens, and repeaters.

Note:

You can add up to 32 detectors (or zones), 2 repeaters, and 4 wireless outputs expanders to the security control panel respectively.

  1. On the device list page, tap the security control panel and then log in to the device (if required) to enter the Partition page.
  2. Tap Wireless Device > to enter the Scan QR Code page.
  3. Scan the QR code of the wireless device.
    Note:

    The QR code is usually on the back cover of the device.

  4. Optional: If the QR code fails to be recognized, tap and enter the serial number of the device, and then select the device type.
    Note:

    The serial number is usually on the back cover of the device.

  5. Tap Add.
  6. Optional: Tap the wireless device on the zone list or the wireless device list to enter the Settings page and then tap Delete to delete the wireless device.
