Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Co., Ltd and its affiliates (“HIKVISION”, “we” or “us”) value your privacy. This Privacy Notice on Hik-Connect Cloud Attendance solution(briefly as “Privacy Notice”) informs you of your choices and our practices regarding any information you provide to us when you use our Cloud Attendance solution(briefly as “Solution”) in the Hik-Connect application (“the APP”) or portal.
You will need to contact your installer in order to use the Solution via Hik-Connect APP or Portal.
When you are using the Solution, the personal information we collect about you varies depending on your account type, your roles, as well as your interactions and touchpoints with us.
1. When you are an Administrator as the representative of Enterprise/Organization/Team
When you manage an account to establish organizational structure for your Enterprise/Organization/Team as an Administrator, you have the right to manage the Cloud Attendance rules for your organization, correct the attendance record, search raw attendance record, and export attendance report, etc. You can assign such shift to one or more persons. For the User Content which are collected and processed via the devices owned by you, Hikvision will process such data, as a processor, on behalf of you. We kindly remind that you, as the controller of such third party data, are liable to collect and process such data in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. In such case, the information controlled by you will include the following:
(i) The Individual User's raw Check-In and Check-Out data in order to view each record of specific Individual User. Raw check-in/out data is the original data generated by access control devices when a person checks in or checks out on an access control device, containing information such as time, device serial number, and personal details. Such information will be stored for a period of two years once recording except you choose to delete it earlier.
(ii) The Individual User's attendance status, such as Check-In Time, Check-Out Time, Break-In Time, Break-Out Time, Required Work time, Work Duration, Overtime Duration, Break Duration, Leave Duration, Attendance Status. Such information will be stored for a period of five years counted from the time of generating attendance report unless you choose to delete it earlier.
You might need to upload the Individual User’s facial photograph, email address, person ID, etc. In such case, you are also the sole controller of all the data. You shall have the consent, release, and/or permission of each and every identifiable individual person in your User Content to use the name or likeness of each and every such identifiable individual person to enable inclusion and use of your User Content in any manner contemplated by the Service and the Privacy Notice. You have obtained and are solely responsible for obtaining all consents as may be required by law to post any User Content relating to third parties.
2. When you are an Individual User
When using the Solution as an Individual User, you are entitled to submit your personal facial photograph through your account created by the Administrator. Such information will be stored until the Administrator deletes your account or you re-upload a new personal facial photograph.
When GPS location permission is enabled upon notice and affirmative permission by you, the Administrator may collect your precise geolocation to record attendance arranged by the Administrator. However, these functions are turned off by default.
3. Others
If the personal information of children is involved in the information you share, you need to obtain the consent of the corresponding child guardian before sharing.
At all times, information collected by HIKVISION will be treated in accordance with Hik-Connect Privacy Policy.
For purpose of this Notice, the specific terms used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the Terms of Hik-Connect Cloud Attendance Solution.
